bye week in Lincoln

The huskers had a bye week this past saturday, and if you know anything about nebraska football, you'd know that they definitely needed it. Coming off of a huge loss to a team that was just as good as them, if not worse. Nebraska had the talent to win, they just had way too many turnovers and missed tackles. But, that was last week and the boys just need to put that behind them and focus on their next opponent. The Michigan wolverines. If you think that this is just gonna be a walk in the park for the huskers, you probably aren't a college football fan. Braxton Miller rushed for 186 yards and broke his own school record two weeks ago playing nebraska. My guess is that Denard Robinson will do even better against the weak blackshirt rushing defense. Im going to just come right out and say it. This year, and the past few, nebraska is down right horrible against mobile quarterbacks. They make our defense look very slow. With that being said, Nebraska needs to make Denard throw. His completion rate is 54 % or something close to that. So, if nebraska can withhold big runs by him and load the box, I think the win will take care of its self. It's no doubt that nebraska can score points. They have a high power offense, in which Rex Burkhead will return to reek havoc on the wolverine defense, and star receiver Tim Marlowe will return this week after a broken collar bone injury. This husker offense will be potent and will score points. This game is all on the defense, and is sure to be one hell of a game.
